Another solution to Corrupt disk is renaming the 'downloading' folder. Sometimes Steam downloads become corrupted and when you try to re-download it, it uses the same corrupted files. If you rename the 'downloading' folder in Steam Apps, and create a new folder titled 'downloading' the game download will be placed in the new folder and will no longer be corrupted. The old corrupted files will remain in the folder you renamed.
